MEET TIFFANY

The driving force behind Birch Design Associate’s individualized experience is owner and nationally published designer, Tiffany Birch. Like many who curate a unique set of skills over time, Birch knew from a young age that her passion was design, originally taking the form of fashion, which parlayed into residential and commercial interior design.

Growing up in a small hometown with an eccentric mother, her exposure to the uncommon in tandem with the unabashed freedom to express her creativity in the family home, shaped the budding designer. Her mother’s untrained eye but intuitive spirit and love of décor, set into motion Birch’s desire to create spaces unique to her client’s needs, in an edited and refined manner.

She attended Michigan State University, receiving her BA in psychology, while simultaneously studying interior design. The psychology behind a purposeful design shapes Birch’s approach to each project, acknowledging the key components for a successful design are not only inherently beautiful, but functional. She begins each partnership with the question “how does this individual or family live?” Skillfully, Birch answers, through visual and tactile cues layered throughout the environment, ultimately reflecting the best version of the homeowner’s distinct style.
